Christmas is a wonderful time of year to celebrate what GOD has done for us. It is a time to spend with family, wind down from the previous year, and look forward to a great New Year. My wish is that these lights will create memories with your loved ones and friends.
I have always felt like doing something a little different to give back to the community. While I thought it was great to put up christmas decorations, I also thought it would be great to collect donations for a charity organization. The first two years we gave to the Make a Wish Foundation. Last year and this year, we will be giving to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of my neice who was diagnosed at birth with this disease. She is a phenomenal child and is 15 years old today and doing quite well. The advances in research are really mind blowing. You can make a donation by mailing a check to the address below. Please make checks payable to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 100% of all donations will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
This year the light show has grown to over 60,000 lights with over 192 different channels controlled by a computer. The extension cords used in this show would stretch over a mile long. We have special effects of vanilla smelling fog, moving spot lights, bubble machines and a laser light effect. Opening night is scheduled for December 1, 2011 and we will have hot chocolate and cookies. If you can attend, please do. We look forward to seeing you!
